Quran Reading and Understand it can make Our life Easy
The Holy Quran is the divine Book
which was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) through angel Gabriel in
Ramadan, the Holy Month of the Islamic calendar, when Prophet Muhammad
(P.B.U.H) was 40 years of age. The Quran is a rope of Allah extended onto the
earth from the sky. In Holy Quran, Allah had described each and every single
thing in a very detailed manner. It is a complete code of guidance. There are
10 rewards for each letter we recite from the Quran. Allah has taken the
responsibility of Quran so it is exactly the same as when it was sent. It
contains no crookedness. Quran tells us 100% facts about our Prophet’s life,
which gives us a lot to learn. Basically Quran is the greatest gift to the
mankind.
But unfortunately, we do not
realize its importance. The Holy Quran that should be our first priority is now
left as our least priority. Although, Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) says: “And the
Quran is a proof for you or against you.” It will either favor us or be against
us, depending on whether we have recited and practiced it in our daily life or
not. In this Era which we call the 21st century, Muslims have time to use
social media apps, hangout with friends, parties, etc. However, they don’t have
time for the Quran reading. Being a
Muslim, how shameful act it is.
Rewards of Reciting Holy Quran:
The rewards of reciting the Quran
are many. Purpose of Quran revelation is mentioned in Quran in the following
way: “A Book which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may
ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may receive admonition.”
(Quran, 38:29)
It is clear from above verse that
the purpose of Quran is to bring blessings to a person and it brings about the
spirit of monitoring in the readers. Therefore, if one does not read Quran on
daily basis, he or she is actually missing a chance of getting inspiration to
examine all the things Allah has created and all the matters of life.
Therefore, in order to gain religious reward, a Muslim needs to recite Quran
every day.
There are multiple benefits of the
Holy Quran reading:
Quran reading purifies
the hearts of the Muslim. Allah Almighty says in Holy Quran :” O mankind, there
has to come to your instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the
hearts and guidance and mercy for the believers.”
The person who read the Holy Quran
is the best of the people. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said: The best of you are
the one who learn the Quran and teach it to others.”
There is a 10 times reward on each
utterance of the Quranic word.
Quran recitation can be made
attractive and in doing so, it can initiate a chance of conversation with Allah
Almighty.
If you want to get a high rank in
paradise then memorize and recite the Holy Quran effectively. Being a Muslim,
it's our religious duty to recite the Holy Quran with understanding.
Reading and understanding of Quran are the right of the Quran:
Nowadays, people put on the Quran
recitation through tape recorders and keep themselves busy with their usual
chores. Naa-uz-bilah, it is an insult of Quran. So, forbid from doing so. Allah
Almighty says in Quran:
“So when the Quran is recited then
listen to it and pay attention so that you receive mercy.”
“Recite the Quran with measured
recitation.”
In this verse, it is said to read Quran in a slow measured tone so that
it could soothe and strengthen the mind and soul of the reciter. The Tajweed
also beautifies the recitation immensely. One should read the Quran completing the depth of each ayah. So that the
meaning of each word would penetrate into his mind and reflect in his behavior
so that the heart and soul will be filled with the light of its pure guidance.
dua for memorizing quran
ReplyDeleteDo not rush. Get started with shorter Surahs (chapters in the Quran). As you progress to longer chapters, your ability to commit verses to memory will get stronger. You need to be consistent in order to attain this. Repeat a verse as many times as you can and also read out aloud
